Directions
Alright, so you want to whip up a delicious bacon cheeseburger casserole?
This is a quick and easy recipe to make. Let's get started!
First things first, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease up a 2-quart 9” round casserole dish. This is going to be your trusty vessel for all the goodness.
Next, grab a large frying pan and get crispy with some bacon over medium heat.
Once it's nice and crispy, set it aside, but keep that tasty bacon fat in the pan. Now, toss in some ground beef and turn up the heat a bit.
Cook it through while stirring. If you find there's too much fat, feel free to drain some off.
After that, throw in some chopped dill pickles, tomatoes, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and about two-thirds of the cheese.
Mix it all up, then transfer this beefy mix with the bacon to your greased casserole dish.
In a small bowl, whip up a mixture of eggs, cream, and tomato sauce. Season it to your liking, then pour it evenly over the beef mixture in the casserole dish.
Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top for that irresistible cheesy crust.
Pop it in the oven and let it bake for 20-25 minutes, until it's golden brown and delicious.
Once it's done, serve it up with some fresh lettuce on the side. Enjoy!
