Ingredients

  • (1 lbs) Pork Cutlet
  • (1 lbs) Pork Ham Bone In
  • (8 tbsp) Garlic
  • (2) Oranges (juice)
  • (1 cup) Olive Oil
  • (4 tbsp) Oregano
  • Deli Mustard
  • Pickles (slices)
  • Swiss Cheese
  • (4 1/2 cup) Mozzarella (for the bread)
  • (3 3/4 cup) Almond Flour (for the bread)
  • (12 tbsp) Cream Cheese (for the bread)
  • (3) Eggs (for the bread)
  • (3 tsp) Baking Powder (for the bread)

Directions

Grab Your Favourite Keto Bread or Make Your Own!

  • Preheat your oven to 425 degrees.
  • Throw some mozzarella and cream cheese into a bowl and microwave it for a minute. Give it a good stir, then nuke it for another minute. Mix it up well.
  • Crack an egg into the cheese mixture and mix it up. Then, toss in the almond flour and baking powder and mix again. If the dough is too sticky, add a bit more almond flour.
  • Roll the dough out flat using a rolling pin or a wine bottle with some plastic wrap on top.
  • Once it’s about ¼” thick, shape it into bread-like pieces. You can do squares, circles, rectangles—whatever you like.
  • Place the pieces on a lightly greased baking sheet, parchment paper, or a silicone baking mat. Bake at 425 for 12-15 minutes until they’re golden brown.

Marinating and Cooking Your Pork

  • Mix olive oil, orange juice, oregano, and garlic in a bag or bowl. Marinate pork for at least 30 minutes.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan, and cook pork until done.
  • Slice the pork thinly.

Note

Depending on your timing, a Cuban sandwich can be made with pork shoulder (more time), and pork tenderloin or thin pork chops will work if you have less time to cook.

Slices of roasted ham are delicious to complete the sandwich, or you could also use deli ham, too. It really comes down to your preference for how thick you want the ham slices.
