Ingredients
- (4 Boneless 1/2 inch thick) Pork Chops
- (1) Egg
- (1/3 cup) Parmesan Cheese (grated)
- (1/3 cup) Almond Flour
- (1/4 tsp) Salt
- (1/4 tsp) Pepper
- (1/4 tsp) Garlic (powder)
Directions
Getting Started:
In a medium bowl crack an egg into it. Give it a good whisk until it’s nice and frothy. Mix the grated Parmesan cheese, almond flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in another bowl. This will be your tasty coating!
Season the Chops:
Now, take your pork chops and sprinkle some salt and pepper on both sides. Don’t be shy—this is where you add flavour!
Coat the Chops:
Dip each pork chop into the beaten egg, making sure it’s well-coated. Then, transfer it to the bowl with the Parmesan mixture and coat it thoroughly. You want that delicious mixture to stick to the chops!
Air Fry Time:
Place the coated pork chops in the air fryer basket. Give them a little spritz with cooking spray to help them get that nice crispy texture.
Cook Away:
Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and let those chops cook for about 8 to 10 minutes. You’re looking for them to turn a lovely golden brown.
Flip and Finish:
After the first cooking time, flip the pork chops over, give them another spritz of cooking spray, and cook for an additional 3 to 4 minutes. You want to make sure they’re cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
Check the Temperature:
If you have an instant-read thermometer, now’s the time to use it! The pork should reach at least 145°F (63°C) in the center.
Note
The air fryer method ensures that the pork chops are juicy on the inside and have a nice crispy exterior.
These pork chops can be served with a variety of sides, such as steamed vegetables or a fresh salad, for a complete meal.
